Odds - Posted: September 12, 2009 Of course they are not allowed to do so, but I would like to see the Las Vegas odds-makers prediction on whether our nation will be hit again before Obama is ousted. |
Incredulous - Posted: September 12, 2009 What did Bush/Cheney lie about? .... Before you answer, go and look up the definition of a lie. |
BigG - Posted: September 12, 2009 We took 8 years of lies and crimes from Bush/Cheney why should we care now? He's a politician and his mouth is moving....... |
Sociable Insecurity Recipient (SIR) - Posted: September 12, 2009 Retiring? ... Chattanooga, Tennessee made money.cnn.com's list of the best 25 places to retire. Chattanooga was listed as number 21. I guess Athens was too small to be on CNN's radar. |
WILD "puts his money where his mouth is" WILLIE - Posted: September 12, 2009 I just got from Rep Joe Wilson's web site where I donated $25 to his re-election campaign. Rep Wilson is the guy who stood up and shouted "you lie" during Obama's lie-a-thon the other night. The truth should "set us free", and Joe simply stated the truth. The left-liberal media are, of course, having a field day criticizing Representative Wilson, in particular, and conservatives and republicans in general. If we do not stand up for the truth, then we will be encouraging lies, lies, and more lies. |
SRTS (Safe Rather Than Sorry) - Posted: September 11, 2009 Thanks, Old Nurse, for your advice. I will now add a case of the N95 masks to my hoard of food, ammo, and conservative books. |
Old Goat - Posted: September 11, 2009 The other day I put in my request with God that my Sweet Chariot NOT be a vehicle produced by Obama's GM. During that meeting I also asked God for other favors, most of which I cannot disclose and still remain a free man. :o) |
WILD " a conservative in a liberal mecca" WILLIE - Posted: September 11, 2009 Observation: The various Athens' governmental units make Athens the most liberal-left, small city in East Tennessee. ... Aren't you proud? |
Armchair Economist - Posted: September 11, 2009 Obama is now going to give you a 60-day, money-back guarantee on your purchase of a GM (Government Motors) vehicle. Obviously, private carmakers cannot compete with the taxpayers purse. So, Obama's ill-advised action will push other automakers toward the financial brink. Same with the so-called "public option" in Obama's health-cars scam. Obama would create a government insurance company to compete with private insurance companies. The result: failed private companies one after the other until only the goverenemt company remains. That is so obvious -- at least to most of us. Sarah Palin can even see that from her far-away home in Alaska. :-) |
Old Nurse - Posted: September 10, 2009 Sorry, but I forgot to tell you: thousands of Americans DIE every year from the flu. Yes, the regular flu. H1N1 may turn out to be as big a bust as SARS was a rew years ago, but precautions to protect yourself and your family are prudent. |
