mercenary - Posted: March 24, 2009 Oh so true, TTSI. Incomprehensible to me that anyone could believe overspending by Congress will fix the problems caused by overspending. Sheesh. People IS dumb. |
TTSI - Posted: March 24, 2009 ONLY in DC could the act of borrowing/spending TRILLIONS of dollars be referred to as a "budget". |
mercenary - Posted: March 24, 2009 cc - Let's not forget Chris Dodd and Barney Frank pushing Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac to encourage banks to make loans to people who couldn't afford them, all the while getting VIP loans serviced by the same companies that eventually led to the Housing Market failure. Or John Murtha receiving large sums of money from a company he got ear marks for in the latest bail out travesty. My point is, TTSI is correct - evey one of the people running the country from Washington, DC today should go on trial. And I would move to get the death penalty on several of them, who would rightfully be considered traitors in a sane world. We should throw ALL of them out, force term limits and get control of our country back. And we need to be honest ; the war on poverty FAILED. The war on drugs FAILED. The policy of going to the UN to solve any problem FAILED. Let's dump those three policies NOW. Please! In addition, we MUST get rid of the Federal Banking sytem and the Federal Reserve. All we need do is return to the Gold standard. I get more libertarian every day! |
cc - Posted: March 06, 2009 sorry brenda; if i committed those crimes i would be in jail!! not picking on republicans, but cindy mccain stole almost more drugs than rush limbaugh could take; notice i said almost. then there is gw who raped the constitution and claimed executive privelege!! chenney and haliburton and no-bid contracts, and of course the infamous carl rove! |
Brenda - Posted: March 05, 2009 CC - Prosecuting people for political decisions is not only counter-productive, it is a sad way to waste millions of our taxpayer dollars. People were fed up with the Neocons and threw them out of office. Let them disappear into the rubbish heap of history. "Caring conservativism" ( AKA liberal Republicanism ) obviously failed monumentally. Mr "Maverick" McCain was just more of the same. Things will get better eventually, but only after the Democrats lose in the Mid term elections. We always do better when the party in the Presidency does NOT control the Congress. Just hang on until then. |
TTSI - Posted: March 02, 2009 Thanks, but being "right" can sometimes be quite discouraging. In fact, the reason I posted my predictions below was in the hopes that someone would show me how *wrong* I was ! I have emailed and posted it elsewhere, but have yet to be challenged on anything in it. This is NOT good. |
mercenary - Posted: February 27, 2009 What difference does Bush make NOW? All his stupidity and left-leaning policies are gone. There is a new sherriff in town, so let's see how he does. I truly believe one of the reasons this country is failing is this obsession with lawyers and laws. If we are truly only a nation of laws, then we are doomed to hellfire. Remeber that the scribes and pharisees in Jesus' day stuck to the letter of the law, while forgetting honesty and justice are the only foundations which will allow a society to survive. (SIGH). Too late, right Ladies and Gentlemen? Prayer IS our only hope and refuge. CC, if all you want is revenge against Bush and Cheney because you disagree with them, then you will never find satisfaction. The same powers that put Obama in office put Bush there to begin with. TTSI has been correct all along - there is NO difference in parties or affiliations. And if the odd political candidate wins and thinks they really are ruling, then they are one termers. If they opt to go public and fight off those "vested interests" that put them in office, there always seems to be a "lone gunmen" out there somewhere. (Shakes head)TTSI, my friend, sorry it took me so long to see the light. You tried to tell us for the last few years. Like many other "educated" Americans, I got hung up on party affiliations and personalities, instead of looking behind the curtain to see who was REALLY pulling all the levers! |
cc - Posted: February 27, 2009 since bush is out of office and can no longer claim executive privelege, will anyone charge him with the crimes that he along with chenney and rove committed? so this tyranny doesn't continue!!! |
TTSI - Posted: February 27, 2009 Submitted for comment:
This is what I predict will soon befall us: |
mercenary - Posted: February 27, 2009 Thank you, TTSI. I was so bored in school with all the useless dreck they taught us that I did my own research and read every thing I could get my hands on. Amazing how little true history is taught in public schools! As I read the truth about ancient history, it occurred to me that more modern history might be full of nonsense as well. Imagine my surprise when I discovered that Lincoln never really freed any slaves, that he suspended the Constituion and that he actually utilized Federal Army and Naval forces to assault and kill New York citizens who were protesting the draft policies! When I observed other presidents with my own eyes and ears and then saw how historians distorted almost every "fact", I knew we were slowly being brainwashed for a future tyrant. Never been one to want to wear a tinfoil hat, but if it walks like a duck... |
