cc - Posted: January 26, 2010 they already shoot you (radar) going 39mph and charge you $200. i don't put anything pass these officials. the town is a disgrace by any standards... |
thomas - Posted: January 22, 2010 Re: Calhoun Police Chief Burris shooting the family dog on their porch. The family and the citizens need to pursue a cruelty to animals charge, perhaps even a criminal trespassing charge, and demand his resignation effective immediately. What's next? Will he shoot a drunk man for giving him the bird? Jack-***! |
cc - Posted: January 16, 2010 when your country has only one runway; would you like to see hillary and reporters landing on it or doctors and supplies? |
TTSI - Posted: January 04, 2010 A few republican senators decide to show up for the fight (in the 15th round -(): Quoting http://online.wsj.com/article/SB10001424052748703278604574624021919432770.html?mod=rss_opinion_main : "First, the Constitution does not give Congress the power to require that Americans purchase health insurance. Congress must be able to point to at least one of its powers listed in the Constitution as the basis of any legislation it passes. None of those powers justifies the individual insurance mandate." Well DUH - these spineless cowards SHOULD have been screaming this from day one. And they should refer to all congressmen who support this crap as TRAITORS and LIARS (as they are directly assaulting our founding document - a document which they swore to defend). That's ALL the republiCons should be saying ALL the time (not bickering how much it will cost, who will get covered, ad nauseam). But Orrin Hatch and his kind could not care less about the USC. All they care about is getting re-elected. And they hope to regain congress if the demoRats pass this monstrosity. So Hatch is finally saying this now because he knows that it's too late to make a difference, and he can claim that he "defended the USC" in the next campaign. What a patriot. |
mercenary - Posted: December 31, 2009 HEY! TTSI - you forgot one! Remember - "It's for the children" ??? Of course, they are always trying to encourage everyone to abort the fetuses before they can even be born, but then want to guilt us over "the children." Happy New Year everyone! |
TTSI - Posted: December 11, 2009 terms/phrases commonly used by socialists: outreach, diversification, raising awareness, common good, visionary, move forward, public/private partnership |
Redd - Posted: December 06, 2009 One of the soldiers leaving today is my sons best friend. It is his first deployment. May God be with him and all the other soldiers leaving their families and homes this close to the holidays. |
mercenary - Posted: December 01, 2009 Huh oh - time to change the battery in my wireless keyboard - strtin to miss a lot of letters!!!! |
mercenary - Posted: December 01, 2009 Sir or Madam wumby, I now stand in awe of your firm grasp of the situation. I beg your forgiveness if I insinuated you were less than brilliant! You have spoken ( well, written) the truth of the matter. We are in serious decline, almost completely because of career politicians. In a sane world, "career" and "politician" would not even be allowed in the SAME SENTENCE; uch less in th peope's Congress. Ergo, we should indeed FIRE THEM ALL. |
wumby - Posted: December 01, 2009 It's not just the bi-partisan junk either, it the people being overly self-serving. Hypothetically, let's say that our current president is the most altruistic person alive. Everything will be stonewalled because our Congressmen/women and Senators want to know how whatever is being proposed will benefit them personally, their friends personally, then perhaps the states they represent and lastly the common good of the nation. I fear we as a nation are about to become the modern equivalent of the Roman Empire. |
