Ima - Posted: June 30, 2008 I have a question for Jerry Riggs. Are towing companies regulated on how much they can charge people when they impound their cars; for instance, if you parked on private property and the owner wanted your car towed off of it, can the towing company charge anything they want, and can they make you pay cash only? |
TTSI (more "victories" like this and we're finished) - Posted: June 30, 2008 Defenders of liberty are celebrating now that the "Supreme" Court has finally (but narrowly) stated the obvious: That the intent of the 2nd Amendment is to preserve the right of individuals (i.e. "people") to own firearms. But it is a hollow victory at best, because the accompanying statements of these morons plainly show that they don't even know the meaning of the words "right" or "infringe":
But when you have to obtain permission to do something, that is called a PRIVILEGE (NOT a "right"). Free speech is also a right. Do we need a license to speak ? Must our speeches be registered ? And is not requiring a license a blatant infringement ??
