I thought you might like to know there will be another showing of the City Council Meeting on Channel 95 this coming Tuesday, May 27th at noon. The final showing will be on Thursday, May 29th at Midnight (Not the best air time, but I guess it's better than nothing). Please let me know what you think! This is an opportunity to see and hear everything that took place at our meeting Tuesday night -- without having to leave the comfort of your own home. Topics of discussion include: The TBI Investigation of the Athens Police Department 2008-2009 Budget (1st Reading) Although there have been recent stories in our local newspaper regarding these topics let me encourage you to watch tonight -- take time and actually see your elected officials in action. I would love to hear your comments, questions, or concerns regarding these topics -- and any others you may have on your mind.
