Yes, TTSI, it will be great to get them ALL out. I would LOVE to see Americans wake up, FORGET party affiliation and FIRE EVERYONE IN CONGRESS! No one could do any worse than the last 8 or 10 Congresses!

I think the people and states are finally learning that it matters not what the federales "recognize". If a criminal steals or assaults us, do we accept it if he fails to recognize his act as a crime ? May these soulless parasites soon feel the wrath of their "host". And may it begin with our own trio of traitors: Wamp, Anderson, & Corker.

TTSI: state rights are part of the original constitution, but the new gov't doesn't recognize this fact or holds funds over their head to gain control.

Merc: Fear not, as it will never pass in the Senate.

Old nurse: That's great advice (regardless of any "health" bill), as this the U.S. (as a country) is on the verge of total collapse. But the *people* can thrive, less the parasitic burden of a federal govt, and the self-destructive/mob-mentality of nationalism. The tyranny of a govt is always proportional to it's size. Localized government is the only kind that can work.

Don't worry about forgiveness; just try to survive. If the Senate bill comes out of committee looking like the house bill, you will lose many excellent physicians and more than a few nurses. The ones who don't understand what is happening and remain in the field will be on a VERY short leash. And YOU will lose much of the health care you take for granted now. Think ER crowding is bad now? Wait until 8,000+ physicians retire "early." Wait to see what tests the bureaucrats will ALLOW the doctor to order. Get ready to live in a world where the government will control ALL of your medical information and will probably use it against you. The true purpose of this bill is CONTROL. I urge you to stock up on over the counter medicines, bandages and splints. Learn how to sew up small cuts, treat minor wounds and infections ( google "colloidal silver") and how to be your own doctor / nurse / therapist. There are many good books out there. Buy some now, before they disappear off the shelves ( book banning always follows increased government control ). Read about the Weimar republic in Germany after WWI to see what will be happening here very shortly. If you want food, get it NOW. Same goes for guns, ammunition and medical devices (medical devices are taxed under the house bill). Tampons and maxi pads are great for puncture and / or bleeding wounds.

Well, the Obama lap dogs passed a health care bill. Whether the Senate passes a bill or not, many house democrats just threw their careers away. Harry Reid is a lame duck (at best), so he will turn the screws very tightly to get some bill out of the Senate. I am reminded of Christ, on the cross, when he said, " Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do." Unfortunately, I don't want to forgive or forget. Neither should anyone else who values freedom.

The internet is filled with stories about foreign troops on American soil and the "holding camps" FEMA has built around the country. Almost no one has noticed that the Canadian and US military have an agreement to aid each other for crises externally or internally. I like Canadians, but my husband says if this White House trumps up some emergency and calls them in,they would be much better off to stay in Canada. Don't even get him started on those lousy Blue Beret UN soldiers!

Unfortunately, TTSI, Mr Truman set the precedent with the Korean "police Action" in 1950. I agree with you 100% that soldiers should not be deployed in any combat role without a declaration of war. Another reason we need to get OUT of the United Nations Peace Keeper operations. While Iraq has been a magnetic trap for Jihadists, pulling them in by the hundreds of thousands for the US Military to slaughter, we should leave quickly. And leave Afghanistan. Next, the responsible thing to do would be to close our borders to all but those who emigrate here legally. But those decisions would require integrity and strength of character, something woefully lacking in everyone in Washington, DC today.

As the USC states that only Congress may declare war, all military personal involved in both the Iraq and Afghanistan wars are directly undermining that which they "swore" to defend. To defend the USC would be to refuse to take part in any undeclared war, and to label as traitors those who ordered them to do so.
