Brenda -  Posted: October 22, 2009 According to The Drudge Report, the "Pay Czar" is going to demand lower salaries for Bank and financial big wigs. I would like them to take it a step further and cut the salaries of Congress by half. Aslo, the staff of each Congress person should be cut in half. Franking privileges should be revoked. The Presidential salary should also be halved. I am also concerned with the HUGE salaries that the heads of NBC, ABC and CBS get. Perhaps that little ole' Pay Czar could even cut the pay of ALL Federal employees; Say, oh, I dunno, about 15%? Oh, and every one involved in the Healthcare Bill, whatever it's final iteration may be, should have to live the rest of their lives on that healthcare, with no assistance from taxpayers. |

After reading everything on the Oath Keepers web sire, I could not find anything that a reasonable soldier or LEO would question. Every one of the tenets mentioned is directly expressed in the US Constitution. In the military we were taught that we were not to obey an illegal order, and that there is no excuse to violate the Oath we swore to uphold the Constitution and defend the country from all enemies - foreign and domestic. So, I became an oath keeper. Thanks again, Captain! |

| Captain Freedom - Posted: October 19, 2009 Are any of you planning on attending the Oath Keepers 2009 conference in Las Vegas on October 24th and 25th? Although I had planned to go, something came up and I cannot make it. If you do get to go I would appreciate you posting your opinion of the organization when you return. My interest was piqued when Homeland Security denounced Oath Keepers as one of the "extreme right-wing groups" that posed a "threat to America".
